PROGRAM:

SHEARING DEMONSTRATION – Including methods for harvesting fiber for both competition and processing.

FIBER PROCESSING FOR SHORN FIBER COMPETITION- Including methods of handling and preparing shorn fleece for exhibition from the animal to a fleece ready to be placed in competition. Lots of hands on experience for participants.

FIBER PROCESSING CLINIC- Including methods of handling and preparing a fleece for spinning, felting or otherwise using for other than exhibition.

Clinic will include lunch and lots of opportunity for hands on practice such as skirting, display, storage etc. Clinic will be an open floor allowing questions and discussion.

CLINIC LIMITED TO 30 PARTICIPANTS TO ASSURE EVERYONE WILL GET THE NECESSARY ATTENTION. PARTICIPANTS NEED TO R.S.V.P. BY SENDING IN THEIR CLINIC FEE BY MARCH 29, 2008.
