The SSLA Pack Trials 2002
The
fall show season culminated on November 30th, 2002 with the
successful completion of the Thanksgiving Pack Trials at Bucks Pocket State Park
in Grove Oak, AL.
Nine llamas participated from 6 SSLA member farms. Alabama, Georgia,
Tennessee and Florida were represented. Three llamas received their
advanced certification and one llama it’s basic certification.
A lot of fun, good food and fellowship was had by all, even if it was a little
cold. The park was very llama friendly and the scenery was beautiful.
Watch the web site for details on future pack trials at this location.

No
he is not the groom!
When
Melissa Saunders and Jeff Perryman got married last month
they wanted to include "Saunders" in their wedding ceremony.
Melissa was instrumental in saving Saunder's life when he was born
1 month prematurely at Pilot Mountain Llamas.
Little did Jeff know that not only was he getting a beautiful wife
but also
two young llamas.
Melissa and Jeff have decided to expand their new
family
to include llamas and goats.
